What a busy month it has been!! I launched my ‘Independent Teacher Podcast’ in September, and we have had some great guests on the show. Nicky Bright, former Headteacher, talking about the menopause; Sophie Thompson, co-founder of VirtualSpeech discussing VR in education; Emma Gleadhill, co-active coach and educational speaker giving tips and advice to promote teacher wellbeing and Tom Rogers, founder of Teachers Talk Radio, discussing toxic school cultures. We will be finishing our September shows with Linda Lefievre from the University of Birmingham discussing digital and distance learning. And then, as we move into October, we shift our focus to rethinking assessment with episodes featuring Jonnie Noakes the Director of Teaching and Learning at Eton College and Alistair McConville, founder of the ‘Rethinking Assessment’ movement. We will also be talking to Louise Leigh, Director of ITT at the KE Consortium, about teacher training, in an episode entitled: Teaching: It’s the best job in the world!

Thank you to everyone for taking the time to join me on the show in the last few weeks, and for making it such a success.
